Planning a private party in Atlanta means finding a space that adapts to your vision. At Ambient Plus Studio in the West End, we host birthday celebrations, anniversary parties, corporate socials, and milestone events in a 100-year-old cotton factory with 25,000 square feet of industrial space. You choose your stage, bring your own vendors, and transform the space into your celebration. Our multiple stages give you options based on guest count and party format, from intimate gatherings to large celebrations. The industrial aesthetic provides character without dictating your style, and our open vendor policy means you control every detail.
Match Your Party to the Right Stage
We call our spaces stages because we designed this building as a creative studio when he transformed it in 2007. Each stage has different dimensions and characteristics.
Stage 1 for Larger Celebrations
Stage 1 gives you 10,000 square feet of hardwood floors with exposed brick walls and west-facing factory windows. The 15-foot ceilings and ground-level access make setup straightforward. The kitchen includes refrigerators, ovens, and microwaves for your caterer.
Set up communal tables for seated dinners, create lounge clusters for cocktails, or clear the center for dancing. Permanent string lights add warmth, and the one-wall cyc provides a clean backdrop for projection or photos.
Stage 3 for Intimate Gatherings
Stage 3 offers 2,000 square feet with 11-foot ceilings, exposed brick, and an optional private entrance. The kitchenette includes a refrigerator and microwave. The optional private entrance creates an exclusive arrival moment.
Stage 4 for Modern Ambiance
Stage 4 brings 2,800 square feet with white brick walls, a skylight, and built-in effects lighting that cycles through the RGB spectrum. The ceiling slopes to 18 feet. The built-in curtain divider lets you create two zones within one stage for cocktails and dining, or social time and presentations.
The mirrored wall reflects light throughout the space. During the day, the skylight brings natural light. At night, the effects of lighting shift the atmosphere without hiring a lighting designer.
Combining Stages or Using The Quonset
Bundle multiple stages for larger parties. Use Stage 3 for arrivals, then move guests to Stage 1 for dinner and dancing. Multiple stages can also serve back-of-house functions like storage or vendor prep.
The Quonset provides 10,500 square feet with concrete floors, skylights, and drive-in access. This space has no HVAC, so it works for spring and fall events. An old mail truck and flower wall are available on site for photos.
Add Entertainment and Technical Elements
House audio visual equipment is available as an add-on for speeches, presentations, or managed sound. The hardwood floors create a natural dance floor, and the acoustics handle music without overwhelming conversation.
Stage 4's effects, lighting, and mirrored wall work particularly well for dance parties. The RGB spectrum shifts from cocktail ambiance to dance energy with simple controls.
